2022 – 52 Ancestors Challenge – Week 05 – Branching Out

The NFL Super Bowl LVI will be coming up in a couple of days. It will be the Cincinnati Bengals vs. the Los Angeles Rams. One of my favorite players was Marshall Faulk, who played for the St. Louis Rams and Indianapolis Colts. He was a seven-time Pro Bowl and three-time All-Pro player. He was one of three players to rush 1,381 yards and 1,048 receiving yards. In 2000, he had an MVP season with 18 rushing touchdowns and eleven seasons with either 1,000 or 2,000 yards rushing. He has 767 career receptions and ranks fourth among running backs for rushing and receiving TD’s.[1]

I would love to “Branch Out” and include Marshall Faulk as a cousin in my husband’s Faulk Family. I have always wondered if he could be in that line since both families are from Louisiana; however, my husband’s ancestors have several name changes, including Faulk/ Farb/ Folk/ Fork.
